Hi all,
Just recieved my WE 8830, after my Pearl started disconnecting from the network about every 6 seconds. Love the WE so far, have everything up and running, contacts transferred, etc, except it does not BB Messenger. When hooked up with the USB cable, I get a message at the BB site saying this app cannot be downloaded, with a link to a mobile download.
When I try that, it says it can only be used with operating systems 4.0 or 4.1, I am running 4.5.138.
Any advice, I hate to go backwards on an OS, but really liked the BBM.

download the os to your computer and install it. open app loader in Dm and it will be there.

Got it. The WE is up, running, and making me very happy again. Thanks to all for the help!
