My BlackBerry is on its way out. I'm getting a new one at the end of the month. However, I'm unable to back my smartphone up as it for some reason doesn't want to synch with any computers. I'm wondering if there's a way to either (a) back up via BlueTooth or wirelessly; or, (b) save contacts to the memory card and transfer them to my new device that way.

Or any other potential solutions would be appreciated!

I don't know any way to copy contacts to the memory card. You should be able to sync to a PC using Bluetooth, if a problem with the USB connector is preventing you from syncing by USB.

Why not try GoogleSync? It does a good job for most at backing up Contacts and Calendar.
