    I purchased my Blackberry 8830 used, and when I tried to fit in a media card I found that the holder was missing. Is there anything that I can do to fix this?

    By missing, do you mean the hinged door is broken off? Or the locking slide? Or something else? I don't understand.

    The hinged door is completely missing. When I open the battery I can look straight down into the slot where the media card would ultimately lock down into.

    It sounds like someone who didn't know how to put in a card broke the door. Maybe you could replace the missing door with one from an otherwise broken 8830. But I don't know how you'd come by one. Ebay?
