    Wassup All,

I'm new to this BB world, and my thumbs are getting a mean workout however I don't think I'm realizing more than 15% of the potential of this phone. (so who needs to get busier, me or the phone?)
NEway, I just purchased a 4GB Micro SDHC card and my BB doesn't even acknowledged that I inserted a foreign vessel. How do I get it to respond to my new media card? I did read somewhere on the site that:

Note: If your device is running a version of the BlackBerry Operating System older than version 4.2.1, the 4GB microSDHC card may not be recognized. Upgrading to BBOS v4.2.1 should permit the use of this card.

I'm currently running BBOS v4.2.2.123, if i understand this correctly this version is newer than the 4.2.1 minimum standard. Can someone give me a hand? Thanks a lot

Try formatting the card in your BB.

Yep that is the answer. After you format it use media manager and you can put tons of mp3s on it and use it as a make shift ipod, if you are up for an upgrade get the curve though as it has a 3.5 mm head phone jack.

Have you tried? Go to Options > Media Card. Press Menu, does it give you an option to format?
