I don't know the answer to your questions, but I can help others help you by giving your post a more descriptive title. If you make a practice of that, it will help you in the future.

Well for me, to connect to a password protected wifi network or some unprotected ones (as in every hotel I have been to so far), once you connect to a network, you have to select wifi hot spot login and it should work from there. So: go to options-wifi connectons-menu-new-scan for/manually add network-once the network is added, hit the "wifi hot spot login" button and it should work.

HRT refers to the Host Routing Table
Options / Advanced Options / Host Routing Table / Menu / Register Now
Re-registering will frequently restore network connectivity. I don't know that it will help a wifi connection, but it won't hurt.

You should also look for a thread by BMcClure937 that details how to make wifi work.

i have been connecting to websites no prob now.
