My service contract is up in march. Though I love my 8700, I think I'd like to get a newer, lighter phone. I'm thinking the curve, but am open to suggestions. I definitely like a full keyboard. I also would like a phone with network connection for free at home/work surfing and calls

Any advice?

I heard the Javelin is really really cool. But, I have a curve and I really love it. So, try the Javelin - if you don't like it, you have 2 weeks to send it back and get the curve.

But us HARDCORE 8700 people need the extra good speaker phone not a damn camera.
And we need our track wheel!
As of right now BB doesn't make anything for me to trade up to.
I have to have the speaker phone and track wheel!Tried to set up an associate's World Edition to sync with his pc/set up emailaccounts and you can take the track ball and you know what!
There is still a US market for 8700 users!
