I purchased this from ebay...and forgive me for being so dense...but it did not come with any software...I would really like to download the latest version and put DM on my home computer.

The device says: BlackBerry 8700
Wireless Handheld (EDGE)
v4.1.0.351 (Platform 2.0.0.143)

Can someone tell me specifically what to download and how. Since the phone is a 8700r (phone says Rogers on it) but my SIM and data plan are AT&T/Cingular, does that make a difference.

Again, I apologize for asking this question, as I am sure it has been asked already.

do I download the DM for the version already on my phone and then try to upgrade...since I have 4.1, do I download 4.1 and then upgrade to BB DM 4.3?

You can use dm 4.3 its better than the older ones

ok I am finally downloading the DM...I was not sure which one to choose. I chose the DM 4.3...with media manager...was that correct?

ok, i downloaded 4.3, but it is saying that it does not have BB device softward for the device that you have connected to the computer. contact your wireless service provider or system administrator.

how do I upgrade my BB that has 4.1, to the new version of 4.3...HELP please
