    if so, where would i do it, in my computer? reason i ask, it would be easier to use big keyboard to do my whole address book and THEN share it with my bb

    You can add all your contacts in Microsoft Outlook and then synchronize your outlook contacts with blackberry desktop manager.

    john you did, but i had no idea you could do it in your computer and then share it with your bb. i was only thinking that you had to put all your data in your PHONE and then back it up into your computer. like i said, i hate to say it, but i may be an Emergency Room RN and can save your life, but when it comes to computer stuff, i am a total blonde bimbo

    The synchronize feature of BlackBerry Desktop Manager is able to import and export to a .csv file that can be load and saved to/from a spreadsheet program like Excel, so that is another possible action.
