Does the 8700g have tethered modem capability that lets you use the device as a wireless modem for your laptop or PC?
The 8707v that I have use have that capability. You can try it out to find out.

it definitely does, you just need to know the parameters from your carrier, on at&t they are all over the web, google is your friend :-)
