SMS Messaging Issue - Sent Messages

Hi all, I'm new here and have a question that hopefully someone can answer.

I'm using a Blackberry 8700g version 4.1
Whenever you send an SMS Message and recieve a response, the SMS you sent shows up in the thread.
Mine don't do that anymore.

I think I might've accidentally hit Mark Prior Opened and not have let it follow through OR I might've accidentally hit Delete Prior.
If this is the case, will it kind of... Fix itself (for lack of a better word) once it's a new day? Or do I have to go somewhere in my phone to fix it? Or did I doom myself forever?
