Alright, first post on the forums here. So please be patient with me.

I've got the 8700G from T*Mobile, and I have several ringtones downloaded onto my phone. It seems though, that after I set a ringtone as my alarm tone the tone is messed up after a few days of being the alarm tone. The tone sounds like it's slowed down to almost half tempo, and sounds all garbled.

This has happened twice so far with a Zeppelin ring tone and now with an Audioslave tone.

Any thoughts?

And to add a little further: The tones that have been set as alarm tones sound slowed down and garbled when I play them in the media player, as well.

How large are the files? Where were they downloaded from?
