    Fairly straightforward poll.

Just wondering who's going to be sticking with their 8700 (or any other 87xx BB) and bucking the hype of the Bold/Curve/Pearl/88xx.

Personally, I'm leaning yes, but depending on what the Curves and 8800s go for once the Bold is out, (or just how sweet the Bold is, never know), I may sell out.

    What's your plan?

I actually sold out once before and went to the Pearl. Well, twice. I've had 2 Pearls. But both times I came right back to the 8700.

8700 with a huge crack in the screen till the day they drop the BOLD...

the new machines just haven't demonstrated an appreciable upgrade in workflow for me. 8700 still rocks.

My dad and one of my brothers have Curves so I have explored the dark side a bit. I prefer the scroll wheel but eventually I will have to move on, after all, change is inevitable!

Love my 8707v. Scrolling seems so natural now :-) Though okay I admit it...... I'm liking what I see of the Bold..... so maybe the 8707v will be retired sooner or later, but Australia always seems to lag behind in getting new stuff. Guess that happens when your on the bottom of the globe... hahah. Still for what it does and how it works, I'm very happy with what I have :-)

I will upgrade sooner or later but the 8700 is a beast I've dropped it more times thab I would of liked and the thing still works great its very durable unlike the newer models. I played with a curve for a few minutes and guess what I was looking for the scroll wheel at the right side of a curve lol.

I thought I was alone in the world holding on to my 8703e (or at least where I live). I've had mine for a year now and have known about the Crackberry web for some time now. I'm still learning and am so happy that I found this web. Within the last 3 mths, I have discovered solutions to problems that nearly made me want to give up my BB. This web has helped me tremendously!!! I'm now as excited about my BB as I was the day I purchased it.

I'm sticking with the 8700 for now as I have upgraded to 4.5 and with the new bis 2.5 I have a whole new phone so it feels. The bold will be tempting with 3g wifi and gps. But we will see as this phone has done no wrong for the past 2.5 years.

8703 for me all the way. I actually have one stashed aside in case mine breaks. I don't feel the newer phones are as sturdy and I SO love the track wheel. WHY does BB have to try to be like everyone else? The reason I love BB is because they're NOT everyone else. Let the cheese stand alone baby!

I still have the 8700 but I also have several other devices. I still like breaking out the 8700 (old skool) for a while.

I will be sticking with my 8700 until the Bold comes out. I can't complain too much about the 8700. It's been a good device, but I'm looking forward to the Bold's ability to actually store files and do something with them. That will let me finally pull over a bunch of files I have on my Dell Axim.

I still have my 8703e as a backup, and I admit I do miss the scroll wheel. I have since moved on but can see why everyone would hold on as the 8700 series was a very solid berry!!

I love my 8703e except for the everyone tells me how bad the quility of speech and back ground noise is. I wish I could get Nextel call quality.
    I'll probably move to Bold.

I have to admit, i do love the 8700 alot but the only downfall is wifi and music. Even if the 8700 had media i problem would have kept and not have gotten the 8800 lol

Just rang to upgrade to the Curve today and can't wait!

I'm sure I'll love it just as much. Not many people I know would have see a BB user with two devices I'm sure!

I thought I was the only one that liked the 8700 because of the scroll wheel. I have used the 8830 with the ball and hated it. I don't know why they would get rid of the scroll wheel. I think it is the signature of a BlackBerry.
