Trying to get pics sent to me via BB messenger off of BB and on my comp.

I am told if I upgrade OS I could have the option of Email pics to someone, but when i upgrade the OS will it wipe out the pics?

It will not wipe out the pics as long as you do a backup of your phone. When you do an OS update it gives you the option to back up the phone before it wipes the device, then after the OS is installed it will put everything back onto your phone that was backed up.
