    I bought a blackberry 8700c off of eBay a week ago and have been trying ever since to get it connected to my laptop. My laptop is running Vista Home Premium. My pc won't recognize that the BB is even connected. it never shows any of the normal messages about finding new hardware. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx in advance!

    never mind. I figured that the problem was that the cable i had was a Motorola. My uncle gave me his BB USB cable and it works just fine.
