Audit01 - where did you hear the 8703e is scheduled for end of life??? I got my 8703e this summer from my carrier which is Telus here in Canada.
Another reason I find it hard to believe is that our federal government here in Canada just awarded Telus Mobility a multi-year contract to supply 8703e BBS to government employees (previous contract was held by Rogers). The the guys and girls where I am on contract (in a gov. dept.) have all been assigned an 8703e - they had to hand in their old BB which was supplied by Rogers in order to be given their new 8703e.
I cant see our federal goverment signing a long term contract and finding out a year later they can not get support for the 8703e because they are no longer available.
In my case, I love my 8703e and dont know how I lived without it.
