I'm trying to find a simple word processing app that can send files by bluetooth from my 8700g to my computer. Preferably compatible with MS Word or Text Edit.
    All replies greatly appeciated.

Dunno about the bluetooth bit but the best txt editor I've found is BBnotepad. Let's you save .txt files to your memory card...

Thanks for that, unfortunately DM 4.5 doesn't recognise the file to transfer it across to my 8700g.

Thanks for your reply DD1968. I have no need for an internet connection for my blackberry, so am unable to download BBnotepad directly to my phone, so am limited to obtaining it via DM or bluetooth.

Thanks vndlewis, I tried it but it didn't work. It seems that it'll download themes, but not applications.

JAR is an archive containing a program and JAD is a description of that program.

The DM allows you to install COD archives and ALX descriptions. They contain the same information.

Google for COD and ALX tutorials on converting between JAR/JAD and COD/ALX.

You can recompile JAR to COD but often, an easier way is to open the JAD and copy the COD urls that it provides. Then download those COD files to your PC.

You need to write the ALX file yourself using notepad. The tutorials will help you. Copy the values from the JAD file.
