Just give me a Blackberry 8700g, the apparatus is a marvel, but I just love meeting the problems connected to the PC that should not happen.

I downloaded the latest desktop manager software available, the software recognizes the device as it connects to the pin and everything, in fact I may even see the tasks is correctly connected and I feel down right at the device manager but blackberry is that the desktop manager will not let me do anything, or applications to load or update or anything. Although applications have always put the following: "No system software found on the device pocket" or put "No applications available for your device (depending on the version of software you use).

Anyway, I tried a thousand ways, he touched all the options but nothing. I've got the latest software available and no, not the 4.5 and then I read somewhere: You should download the software that msmo your dispositio (4.1) and I was not there, I even downloaded the 4.0.

In this forum I saw that happened to another user and formatted the same and solved it: because I went there, but nothing is formatted, a penalty go. I have done everything I've read, a hard reset, go, everything that has happened and I no longer know what else to do, I tried to update the phone software but I could not do anything because the program does not let me. On another site I read that you can move the software from one phone to another but do not know anyone else who has.

Would not it have any chance to restore the device software from another program, one that is updated? For example the 4.5?

I do not know what to do if someone reads this and can help would be immensely grateful that I do not know that I have more to prove, I got it and did what was long but without the use of clear with a firlware old.

I just want to get pdf to read notes, Agune song as a ringtone and make some nice photo as wallpaper.

I hope your help and thanks ahead.

    Thank you very much

Sorry for the writing, im spanish

Welcome to CB. I have a pretty good understanding of what you want to do. I will try to explain as best as possible. To upgrade your OS system I recommend you read this first. http://forums.crackberry.com/f95/pro...ocedure-53359/
I will give you a simple version of the instructions here as well.
1: On your computer go to control panel then add/remove and uninstall desktop manager 4.7 if you have that version.
2: Go here and get desktop manager 4.6 with media manager. https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...93E4F3BB068C22
3: Install it to your PC.
4: Start the desktop manager up and go to backup/restore. Do a backup of your device.
5: Go here and select your device and download the OS to your pc. https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...E4F82F9F00E7D4
6: Once that OS is downloaded go to where you saved it and double left click on it. It will install on your pc now.
7: On your pc go to C:/program files/common files/research in motion/app loader. Scroll all the way to the bottom and find "vendor.xml". Right click on it and delete it.
8: Start desktop manager and attach your blackberry to the pc with the usb cable. Now go to applications loader. Once there you will see a list of applications that are for your device with boxes on the left. Check all the apps that you want installed on the device. Make sure you have a check in the box for blackberry attachment service..
9: Follow the prompts to complete.
10: This will take a while to complete so take your time and be patient. DO NOT UNPLUG THE DEVICE FROM THE PC UNTIL IT SAYS THE OPERATION WAS SUCCESFULL.
11: Once done you will need to register the device with your network. On the device go to options/advanced options/host routing table. Once there, click the tackwheel in once and select register now.
12: Resend service books. While on your device navigate to the app screen(one with all the icons). Look for manage internet mail. It looks like a folder with a little gear on it. Open it and select service books. Resend service books.
Your device should have done the upgrade and restored a backup automatically. But if it didnt, then you just start desktop manager and go to backup/restore. This time select restore and navigate to where you saved the backup file you created in step #4.
To add the ringtones and pictures to your device there are two ways.
1: Email the file to yourself. Once you recieve it on the device open the email and click in the trackwheel then download attachment.
2: Start desktop manager and go to media manager. Once it starts your device folder will be on the bottom and your pc folders are on top. Open the folder you want to store the media and drag and drop the files.
    Hope this helps you out.

Are you sure that you are entering the password correctly? Does your password have any numbers in it? You think your password on the device is '1234'... but you're not holding the ALT key when you type '1234'... so you're really typing in 'etud'. Your password is actually 'etud' so when you type '1234' on your PC, it's not correct.
