HI from Germany

All, I just received an 8700v and really love it. I have found some cool Java apps (games) like chess and would like to install them. How do I do this?

The games are in a file called a jar or jad ..

By the way, downloaded some of your themes here and they're very nice.

Jad and jar files are OTA downloads. Download then via your BB browser.

Hi Garz and Hazy, thanks, I do have a small problem. I do not have web access from my service yet. I hope to get a new card and service that offers this. Any manual method?

Hola!! ;)

You can either install OTA (over the air) or from your desktop PC using DesktopManager. You need to download the .alx files to load with AppLoader from DesktopManager.

Gutentag!! Welcome to CB! Some stuff needs to done through the Desktop Manager while others can be loaded OTA (over the air). Here is a good site for games.
