I just upgraded the OS on my 8703e to 4.2 from 4.1.

Before upgrading, the flashing green light was on and would turn red when a new message was received.

The green flashing light does not appear although the red flashing light does work. What setting do I change so that the green flashing light is on.

How do you keep the screen bright. After a few secs, screen becomes dim and then shuts down. Clicking a key reactivates screen. What setting do I enable so that screen remains bright and does not shut down.

    for #1
    options>> screen/keyboard>> LED Coverage indicator>> ON
    #2
You can't keep the screen on, but you can change how long it stays lit.
    options>> screen/keyboard>> Backlight Timeout>> choose setting -
It would kill the Battery too fast to leave on permanently.
