I have been browsing around at all the sounds and ringtones available and I was wondering if there is a way to set up a difference ringtone or sound for a particular e-mail sender or group of senders.
Not really -
you can set up different notification sounds for Texts, Emails and Pins but you can't set up different tones for individual email senders.
You could ask certain groups of people to only text or pin. . .
Webmessenger has a good product called message alerts that will allow you to define an alert for any variety of filter types. Caution don't buy from handango---go directly to the Webmessenger website.
