I was able to turn off the key tones for the keyboard, but there are still tones when I dial. Is there any way to mute that?

If you mean the touchtones you hear over the speaker while dialing, I don't believe there is any way to suppress those.

Ditto what Jeff said. On other phones I've had there is a setting for "key tone volume" that included touch tones for the phone part, but not so on the Blackberry as far as I can tell
