I'm running desktop 4.2 with 4.2 operating system on my 8703e.

I was on the RIM web site and saw that desktop manager ver. 4.3 was available for downloading.

Can anyone tell me if downloading ver. 4.3 is worth the download.

I have been running 4.3 for about 2 months now, and I absolutely love it. 4.2 SP2 was giving me a bunch errors that required me to reinstall it every week when I tried to sync, so I installed 4.3. It works wonderfully and has a very nice interface. I highly recommend the upgrade.
