I did a os reinstall and the db I modified got installed ok but when I checked all the things I deleted with crackmem were still there , did the dm install one of my backups as part of the os install??

second thing is a newbie question but after the reinstall I did the setup thing and linked to my email account but now when I try to reply to an email it says that no messenger service is selected- when I try to add a email account it tells me that I have allready done that -- what do I have to do? (pulling what little hair I have left out of my head )
