I just had a system administrator drop me and re-add me to our BB server to correct an "uncaught exception: padding byte out of range" problem. Then did an enterprise activation. Solved the original problem, but now all messages in my inbox prior to the enterprise activation resist all attempts to delete them. Have tried battery removal/replacement, re-boot, moving messages to another file (can't), but nothing works. Sort of doing a wipe, is there a reasonable solution?

    Thanks, JeffH.

I'll try this on Monday. Unfortunately, our IT folks won't let us have Desktop Manager. I downloaded it once from an internet site and got my hand slapped.

I've copied the instructions from the link you provided and printed it. Will ask one of our IT guys to try this procedure on my BB for me.
