Hi
I received a new unlocked blackberry from ebay and it says unlock it with a password. Does anyone know what the passwoed is. I only have 1 more try and then it will erase everything.

I would contact the ebay member and ask him what it is. The only person that is going to know the password is the guy or woman that sold you the phone. If you don't what to do that then contact either Rim or AT&T.

well the default password for 8700's is usually 0000....try that?

If you enter the wrong password 10 times it'll wipe the device. Once wiped you can enter your own password. In many cases you won't be able to turn off the password requirement due to IT policy on the device. You'll have to remove the IT policy. Search the forums for "Remove IT Policy" for info on that.

???? I don't think so. That is the default passcode for many bluetooth devices but not for device passwords.
