...am sitting here, waiting for my PC to finish install Windows XP. Vista is such a 'power hog', despite how much power I have - 1.5GB memory, 3.2ghz processor!

Break it down for me, what is the option of 'Backlight Timeout' for? I have mine set to 1 min, yet, within about 10 seconds or so, if I don't touch anything on my BlackBerry the light goes off. Am I missing something here?

A buddy of mine who I work with is having the same problem and it's driving us insane trying to figure out why that's happening. I have changed the settings for him, and it will work at first, then after about 10 minutes, it goes back to the 10 seconds. I have no idea of what's going on. It's been very frustrating!

I have an end-user complaining about the same thing. So, has anyone tried a the software upgrade to see if that fixes the problem? She travels so i don't have the device in hand but, if that will fix it, i'll have her ship it to me.
