It seems that the only time I can get audible alerts for my calendar items is when the alarm is on. Is there any way to receive an audible alert for a calendar tiem without an alarm being set?

    Thanks,
    Tom

go to profiles >advanced >active, under calender you can change the alert settings by tone/vib volume etc.

That changes the alert settings but the audible alert will NOT work unless the daily alarm is set to on. For this to happen I must have an alarm time set.

I was thinking that the alarm must be on for you to get an audible alert. I could be wrong.
