Hey, I love this new site and have been waiting for it. I'll be surprised if it can teach me anything new about my BB though b/c I'm a total addict and techno geek and always check my gadgets out to the extreme to see what they can do. I've downloaded a bunch of awesome things and am ALWAYS playing with my BB. My work actually bought mine for me and pays my monthly bill so I just pay for the extras I put on it, but it's suppose to be so all my clients can reach me at any time...and they do...but I still love it!
Started in the 7000 series and have had: 8700c (I don't really like how pleasing the case is to the eye) an 7130c, an 8100 and now am quiet satisfied and happy with my 8703e.
I guess the ladies seem to gravitate toward the 8703... my GF has one as well. It took her about 6 hours to get completely addicted to it coming from a treo 650... she loves the stability of the device and the fact that it just keeps her in the loop on everything all on it's own...
Has anyone else downloaded the "blackberry messaging" option? It's located under the "help" icon on your BB and then go to "Blackberry Help Web Site" and then "downloads", it's under there and it leads you thru how to set it up and you can instant message other BB users. I love it...it's so much better than texting or even sending a PIN message b/c you can carry on a conversation live just like on AIM and stuff...be careful though, I do believe a charge shows up each month, I think my boss said something about it to me, not sure if it was that or not though b/c she pays my bill.
I have the Blackberry Messenger and it is great. I use it all the time with my family and friends who have BB's. It uses your data plan, so the only charge you should have for it each month is just your regular data plan chrage... so those with unlimited data plans... chat away!
8703e here, my company switched from Cingular about 8 months ago. Gotta love the Verizon Wireless network. Haven't dropped a call since the switch.
(knocking on wood)
Love my 8700e. I started out with 7290 then 8700g then 8100 all with t-mobile. I just switched to sprint and now have the 8700e. About blackberry messenger I love it when I get to a computer I will put my PIN in my signature.
LOVE my 8700c. BB Messenger is just great!! I tried the 8800 but just couldn't give up my clickwheel and din't need the extras on the 8800. This is truly a great device......
Oooh me, I have one! Bought it on Monday, my first BB and I was hooked immediately! I'm currently trying to convince my best friend to get one, I need a friend so that I can use BlackBerry Messenger!
