8703e. Screen turns off too quickly after in lock mode.

I have a BlackBerry 8703e with the latest OS. When I put my phone in lock, the screen turns off after literally 2 seconds of no use. I have been having this issue ever since I updated to the latest OS.

The screen will turn on again after pressing a key, but then after 2 seconds it'd turn off again. Any way to extend the time before the screen turns off?

Same problem with my Curve. Anyone?

i don't think you can change how long the light stays on when it's locked, but it does that to save battery...i was thinking turn the "automatically dim backlight" feature off, but, yeah, that didn't change it :/
