It might not have been in the right mode. I take it the other device was in the 'receiving mode', i.e. waiting for a Bluetooth item? Also, I believe that part has to be set BEFORE you set the other device to send...
Im affraid I am not sure. Would you mind giving me step by step on this? I have no idea how to work a BB and I am very she she doesnt either! Thanks man!
Sorry to burst your bubble but the 8700, atleast the 8703e will send ringtones via bluetooth. There was a posting about this topic earlier that is how I found out...a lady wanted here child to send her a ring tone and it wasn't working. Someone wrote telling her to go to he bluetooth area on the phone and somewhere you can look and it will say what yor phone will send and receive via bluetooth. I'm sorry I don't remember the specifics, but in any case 8703e won't do ringtones via bluetooth.

how do I download ringtones and wallpapers to my 8700g that I rec'd form this site
Barely operating my BB correctly. Please help with not making me seems so dumb!!
Once you email them to the acct. That you have set to your bb your phone should do the rest. With wallpaper just click trackwheel scroll to full image, then save image. As for ringtone once its playing in the player just go over to save tone
