I would like to be able to use my data plan without BIS like it says here https://forums.crackberry.com/showth...1#post11362746 because I can't watch videos on YouTube and can't access the websites RIM doesn't want me to access otherwise, and I also created custom service book for MMS to work (https://forums.crackberry.com/blackb...t-bis-1105542/), but my Bold 9900 automatically registers on the network and rewrites all the service books with BIS's after it reboots! Does anyone know how to stop that?

You don't. That's how it's supposed to work. If you want access outside of BIS, try Opera Mini.

That's right. If you have a BIS enabled mobile data plan, then all the required service books re-download automatically from the carrier as soon as it picks you up on the network.

No way around that until you kill that data plan. Or, maybe turn mobile data off totally and go wi-fi only.

The Anworm book DOESN'T get re-written because it has different name. It would be nice if I could get MMS book to stay, then I could delete WAP BrowserConfig book and enjoy the best of both worlds!

I can confirm that the Antworm servicebook DOES get removed. I had to "try" a friends sim to check if it was working and all my service books where gone, even when I returned to my sim.
