Hi guys. I just updates the leak version of 10.2.1 but noticed a problem after. I restored data from my Pre update on my pc. But some of my contacts have linked or mixed. Tried to unlink but can't. Shall I do a wipe and restore again? Or manually edit all my contacts?

Me too! Getting tired of having to spend hours fixing them every time I update. This needs to be fixed soon!
PIM has been a mess since the launch. I've never been able to get syncs and restores to work without unexpected duplicates and unrequited links.

I never backup to PC, I use apps for contact backup to SD.
Upgrade become no problem.
BBM contact will recover after we sign in with BlackBerry id.

If you connect your contacts with a gmail account then you do not lose anything.
Open gmail/contacts and look at all the contacts in the list.
Everything in gmail / contacts change it will change in contacts on the phone, if turned on to sync contacts with gmail account.
At any time to change the OS only add gmail account and then you have all the contacts in phone.
Sorry. But how do I backup my contacts to my Gmail? In preparation for the next update.
