I had a question about the external Z30 charger that was anounced on Crackberry a little while ago. Could that be used on a Z10 also? Is it compatible with a Z10 or is it only for the Z30?

I would rather buy that than the charger/battery bundle currently offered for the Z10. Like that I would only need to charge the charger (LOL) , and once my Z10's battery runs low I could connect the charger directly and load up the existing battery directly, no need to carry an extra battery or do a battery switch!

Or am I misinterpreting the way this whole thing works?

No reason why not. Both the Z30 and the Z10 have a Micro USB plug, so any battery pack, this one included, should work.

It would work. Personally, I'd much prefer a Z10 pack. You can still charge the external pack exclusively, and when your phone runs out, just switch batteries - boom, instant charge. Nothing dangling awkwardly from your phone.
