i see this leak is mr and i think i want to upgrade to 10.2 with this mr update.
is it ok and good decision for me to update to this version?

how can i backup the previous os? so i can back to original os if something bad happen.

U can use BlackBerry Link to backup your phone
But if u wanna back to previous os,u can use sachesi to grab the link (sorry if my spelling is wrong)

I am bit confuse about the term 'locked runtime' how thats affect my device,i know it got something to do with Android apps in my device (Line,Path and any other games that I side load)..can I just side load it like I used to do..!? Or it's a different now? I am currently on Z10STL100-1/10.2.0.1743. And want to upgrade to this leak..thank you!!

Ps: I am from indonesia and my vocab about this technical things are limited..can anyone enlight me? Thanks

If ur sideloading work now then u dont need the runtime unlocked, the unlocked runtime is for people dont want to do debug token,for example candy crush can run without debug token if u using android runtime unlocked ,,i hope it help, ,

i keep my phonebook online in gmail so i dont really need backup my phonebook, sms, or others.
all my documents in my sd too.

so so so..
ga sabar pengen 10.2 nih, cuma takut juga kalau ada apa2 bisa restore ke os lama.

can someone send link how to restore to backup and restore original os?

Strange, at first my software release was "no information available", but after some daily use the software release showed up.. 10.2.0.415

Does any one have this problem?

I have discovered a problem in this leak, the keyboard language selection is not sticking. For eg. Arabic language is not sticking, after rebooting. I had to enable it every time I reboot

Well important things like Contacts, Calendars or Memos. Try to have those backup on the cloud so you can easily sync it back. Because the backup/restore via Blackberry Link has not proven to be reliable for me, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt

Os ya gabisa di back up hehehhe
I always do clean install
Never do back up and restore
Setting (I can do it manually)
Media (I use media card)
Contact (I sync to my email account)
Application (I download again in BlackBerry World "my world > my apps & games > avaliable" there is all applications that we install before)

But always remember,do security wipe first before install new leak os

I update my z10 to this leak.

So far this is my review:

Dark theme working in bbm, contact, but not yet in text message.

Compass working normal, some said east point north.

Language working normal, still there even after reboot.

Whatapp working normal, even better, contact show first and last name, before only show first name.

App myflashlight DONT WORK anymore, must download another flash light app.
i install Flashlight Free, working fine.

Debugtoken.bar created by xsacha's android pack 7 august can't installed, said "500 invaled ....", must use other method.

Camera 360 from bb10bars.net dont' work, force close.

Instagram from bb10bars.net dont' work, show incompatible camera.

i think this will be change in next sms, old sms that already opened with white theme cant change, must delete/close the old sms

I have managed to solve my problem! Now, I don't know how this came about in my head but it made a whole lot of sense, and felt like a total *****.

I have purchased Hub++, and the instructions for it to work is that it must be left open in the active frame as there is no headless api implemented in the app or available for public consumption yet. So basically it requests that you switch off alerts, so that Hub++ will be the main control rather than both overriding each other.

So what I should have done was just switch off the alert for tone and led notification, but I switched all alerts off, so it obviously cancelled off instant preview (or toast notification) that we have been accustomed to know it as.

Hope this helps for those who may have encountered similar problems (though it looks like it's only me). But thanks everyone who replied. Learn something today
