    Title says it all really.

I was getting the "software update available" every day so eventually hooked up to Link & started the update.

OS showing as 10.2.0.424 but the notification still generates daily. When it lists the name of the update, it lists the exact same OS that I have installed.

I haven't experienced any of the Android port issues that have been mentioned, only thing is one time I opened a text and the formatting was all off - so I rebooted. I assume my update went smoothly (10.1.whatever did not and nearly bricked my phone) so I think I'm good. I'm just confused as to why it's still telling me an update is available. Anybody got any ideas?

    Wind mobile (Canada)
    software: 10.2.0.424,
    OS 10.2.0.1791

Just grab the update via your device, might be a few applications [this was the case for me]

Have you deleted any of the pre-installed apps?

This has been happening now on my Z10 for a few weeks. Running latest OS but will not go away even after deleting the app that says it needs an update and reloading it. One time it would not let me delete the app. At first problem was with Battery Lover app. I could not even delete it but then all of a sudden it was gone and now the MAKE app will not go away from update available even after I have updated, deleted and reloaded and updated several more times. Weird! Guess a totatl reset is next>

I had that too. I'd go into BlackBerry World and update the app, and the notification would reappear in app world. I found that what worked was not using the "update " button, but rather use the diagonal arrow button in the update list, or in the case here my available list as I have no updates.

Tried that but it still shows. Deleted the app that, it was being suggested, needed an update. Now another one shows in its place...Funny its CB10 needs the update now. If I delete the "offending" app another just shows in its place. I have been avoiding a reset for now. Maybe the update will fix it, if not, reset I go!
