I woke to my z10 battery being at 0%. I had picture password turned on however I had to key in the passcode to unlock. The phone was over heating and the blackberry symbol on the top right corner had disappeared. Hub was empty and my call history was gone. I also couldn't launch any apps. Couldn't get in settings and device monitor would not open.
So I plugged it in the charger and an hour later I restarted the phone. Nothing changed. The hub kept loading for over 10mins. And never did. I switched the phone off and turned it back on half an hour later, now I'm stuck on the boot screen at 100%. It's been like that for the past hour. I've tried the reset by holding the volume keys I still can't get past the boot screen.
I updated to 1581 on Feb 19th when it was released ota and had not experience any problems until this morning.
    What should I do?

Use Link or an autoloader to reinstall the OS would be my best suggestion, without doing a restore if at all possible. If you need to do a restore, try limiting it to only what you need.

Other than that, contact your carrier or wherever you bought it and see what they suggest.

Ended up using link to reload the os. Started as fresh. Latest backup I had was from last October. So didn't bother.
