sometimes i just cant close/swipe up when keyboard show up, i need to close the keyboard first by two finger swipe down and after that i can close/swipe up the app.

quite annoying if want to fast change to other app.

You just have to swipe up further. It's to stop the app minimising when you swipe a word onto screen from just above the space bar. It takes about 43 seconds to get used to it. It's much better like this.

Also make sure you swiping from the word BlackBerry up.
The device needs to know you are intentionally making that action as the other poster mentioned.

Also I find the easiest way to minimise the keyboard is just to long press on the spacebar, that will hide the keyboard again

The idea is good and it is well executed, but the lack of information about the change and how to perform the motion is what is driving these frustrations for users.

Better comms about these changes (similar to the on screen tutorials) from BlackBerry will lead to a better experience for users

And like someone mentioned above, please just hold the space bar Dow. For 2 seconds and this closes the keyboard. It is just so much less hassle for you lol.
