Now that we've had it for a few weeks, what is the verdict on the update?

Runs just as good as before, so no negatives from me. Have I noticed any change, no. But I didn't expect to either, I've so far always had easy updates without any disasters of the OS.

The noticeable browser improvements make the update worthwhile for sure. Web pages just don't have as many issues loading as before.

Sorry to dredge up such an old thread, but how the heck did you get a BlackBerry working on RW?

They haven't had a post since 2017, doubt you'll get an answer.

Darn, well it was worth a shot I guess... thanks. I recently started playing around again with a used Classic I got a while back. Being able to use it alongside my Android phone would be sweet. I hate the limited phone selection that RW has

I ask because that would be the first step in getting it to work with Republic Wireless. I assume that switching SIM cards out of your Android device doesn't work?

Putting the sim in won't do anything because you need to have the RW app installed to get service.
I've tried installing the apk and it fails. Don't worry about it, I've gotten over that a long time ago, I just came across this thread and was hoping the person who got it would be able to fill in the details on their process
