    My 9900 is getting my yahoo mail 15 minutes before my Z10. Push is enabled. Hotmail and Gmail are mostly instant. My PlayBook and I phone on yahoo were mostly instant on yahoo also except sometimes the I phone never got the email even with refreshing. I have the 9900, PlayBook and Z10on the same blackberry id. Could that have something to do with it? I have had the Z10 now since 9am yesterday and it is absolutely awesome.

    My understanding is one bbid per device stupid yes but I believe that's what they want.I sent a Gmail it took seconds to arrive I sent a yahoo email it took seconds to arrive I can't see any issues here in bonny scotland on my z10, good luck

    Well if I remember right for the PlayBook changing the id wiped it. Is the Z10 the same

    Yahoo emails arrive 8 minutes later on my Z10 than on my Curve 9380, and they are on two different BlackBerry ID's so it's nothing to do with that. BlackBerry recommend you use the same ID for all your devices.

    So much for BB10 being the best in breed for communications, as far as Yahoo email goes they have made it slower than BBOS.

    Both Gmail and Yahoo use IMAP for email. The difference seems to be that Gmail uses IMAP-IDLE which pushes new email to the Z10. Yahoo doesn't seem to have push set up for the Z10 on its servers, so the Z10 has to poll for messages.
