So I loaded my Yahoo! Mail in the Hub, and no emails show up (see image).

Anyone else face this issue? Any solutions?

I faced a different Yahoo mail issue on the .1052 leak - the issue was that yahoo mail just would not sync. It ended up working somehow when I tried again after a few days.

I think that's the correct way. I don't use yahoo after a couple years ago they were really messes up when they changed their interface, mail was horrible, just sit and spin and never load anything. Yahoo doesn't play well with bb a lot of times. Hopefully someone who uses yahoo will pop in.

I've had issues in the past when trying to set up yahoo email and would get an error about not being able to connect to the server or that my username or password was incorrect. You may want to delete the account and add it again using the advanced settings.

    Incoming Mail
    Server: imap.mail.yahoo.com
    Port: 993
    Require SSL: Yes

    Outgoing Mail
    Server : smtp.mail.yahoo.com
    Port: 465
    Require SSL: Yes

    Hope that helps.

Thanks a lot! Yeah I have a Gmail account and that works perfectly. My Yahoo account is for spam But I've got the Yahoo android app, so at least there's that.

Thanks, tried it but no luck! I'll just have to stick with the Android yahoo app for now.

Yahoo had some changes over the last few month regarding mobile devices and a 2nd security layer. You need to go to your online yahoo account and add a permission password for mobile devices add that password to your imap settings and off you go, all emails will be download in hub as usual.

This new password will generate a series of numbers which is then used as a different password other than your usual online password for mobile devices. Well yeah you need to update all other mail programs as well too, so you are able to get the email on all devices in use.

Thanks a lot! Unfortunately after entering the long password that was generated, the emails still aren't showing. I'll just have to use the android app.

Have you tried doing a Hub reset using the 5 swipe method? I vaguely recall not seeing mail from my Yahoo account at first try. I don't recall if it was fixed by a Hub reset or the procedure I've listed below...

If the Hub reset doesn't work, try removing the account, doing a hard reset, and then adding the account back. On the 10.3 leaks, I've had issues with a few accounts. Removing and readding doesn't seem to do anything unless you reboot in between. My preferred method is to plug the phone in and then hold down the lock button until the LED begins to pulsate, then release. Tap the button again to boot the phone. This has fixed each of the account issues I had including the 'no facebook notifications' problem on 1052 and 1154.

Good luck! I know it will work eventually because mine works just fine

Thanks so much for your help! It seems that it's not my day today, none of your solutions worked for me, but I'm sure it'll work sometime

It's not an OS 10.3 issue. I have Q10SQN100-3/10.2.1.3247 but have been experiencing the problem for a few days now:

The weirdest part? I configured Yahoo mail on an iphone 4 and it worked flawlessly, using the stock iOS email app.

That's odd; thanks for the link. Yeah my Yahoo mail always worked on my iPhone as well. Hopefully it'll work when 10.3.1 is released.

I just had an idea and tried to configure Yahoo! as a POP3 account. Worked flawlessly. All my emails are pouring in now

    Settings are here:

I do not have a paid Yahoo account but the POP access is working anyway.

Obviously POP is not an ideal solution for those who want IMAP. But if you want to see your yahoo mail emails in the Hub, POP is the option that works.

Just remember, depending on the server settings, that pop mail will be deleted from the server when downloaded so your bb will be the only place your mail is. I don't know if yahoo or bb gives an option to leave mail in the server.

When I tried to set up yahoo, I got an email in my yahoo account that I would need to grant access for the mobile device, and a link to do it. It gave me a long password to use on z10, and it took about 5 Min to sync up

I'm running .1154 on my Z30 (STA100-3) and am getting Yahoo emails in the Hub along with unread count/notifications. The above settings came from a restore of a previous leak that I was on when I set up the account. Hope this helps ...
