If they were to release a BB10 version of any of the blandroid devices i would buy one in a heartbeat. I much prefer BB10 to Android and seeing how well performance scales on the passport vs a Z10 i bet it would be a beast. I don't care about apps really and I can perform all the necessary mobile tasks for my job very well on my Passport. Even infotrak (impressa) and SAP web clients work great.

Well, i would definitely buy it because of its updated anti-theft features which will allow me to disable and lock my device if it gets lost, since i want to make sure no one gets to get any of my information.
Another reason i would go for is the availability of blackberry and android apps together. Since android play store does have some good apps and are also available free.
    Blackberry Passport is love.

I would certainly consider any new device running BB10 because, for many reasons, I prefer the platform to all others.

Definitely. If my PPSE or Z30 happened go kaput I would look to replace with same. My main reason, love the OS and further just don't wanna be 'Googled' ,data mined and advertised to death any more than I have to.

Agree. I gave Android a chance for the better part of a year -- I wasn't amused. I have an iPad mini (with no contacts or other info) I use for Spotify and NHL Game Center, but that's about the extent of my tolerance for iOS.

Unfortunately I wouldn't buy a BB10 device if it's my only phone. I'd have to go with a Priv, Dtek or Mercury for longevity and app support.

But I carry a few devices and for right now one of them is BB10.

It doesn't get any better than the Passport I already have, and there won't ever be another BB10 phone, so probably not.

If they rereleased any of the PKB devices (Q5, Q10, Classic, Passport) then yes, because they have unique form factors.

Z30 / Leap probably not, unless the price came right down.

BB10 is still, at the time of writing, very useful and productive.

Yes, with the understanding that it will probably work great for a year or two, but that anything beyond that is questionable. Also, I would not expect ANY third party app support, but would expect the bundled, native apps to continue working.

Yep ... most of the bundled apps on BBOS still work, including Docs to Go which has more features than the BB10 version LOL.

Only if I was an experienced BB10 user and knew it could do everything I needed.

If I had no or little experience with BB10 I would say no, even if I thought I only needed the functionality it had.

I would definitely not buy another BB 10 OS device given the fact that BlackBerry has moved away from hardware devices of this type. Also, I still have a few other functional devices (Pearl 8100, Bold 9780, Z10 and Classic) 3 of which are certainly no longer supported and reached End of Life. For me, the Classic has been the best and I will continue to use it for as long as it's worth it. However, I think it would be foolhardy and too costly to continue investing in further BB 10 OS devices, even as a mere consumer. In fact , I have already moved on to Android OS with the mid-range but quite impressive DTEK50 and I am seriously considering the Mercury. But first, I'll wait to see what the final specs would be, hopefully, by end of this month.
