what if a regular consumer went to the blckberry website, clicked on smartphones, then went to the page that is still up for the Classic or Passport, followed the link FROM BLACKBERRY to thecell.co and bought a Classic or passport new, they would basically have a completely unsupported deviice right out of the Box!!! Not everyone is that informed

I never get to a position where the tab number causes an issue because the browser has usually lost my session before then.

Just another 10.3 bug, the session is deleted, losing all open tabs. It was covered soon after 10.3 landed on other devices.

Sounds like you need to reload your software, and use the Do not track and Private browsing. I could not get on tomshardware because of a certificate issue, and Google Plus does not like to let you on. The weather was nice. I flew the reloading and hey works again. Can't imagine using another browser on OS10.

Yea you are right, certificates are great. I have the GeoTrust ones I need from boot though. And being in Canada.. we can not use a lot of web services or see many sites. YouTube Red as a basic example not available in Canada. Some times Certificates you have will deny you access too. DOD roots certs for example or Symantech and WoSign. Its not very time consuming and either way you look at it a good choice.

Opera can be installed from Amazon. It is a modern and standards compliant mainstream browser, one of the big five.

Compared to actual android hardware, no.
But I guess you could get used to it.

Mercury browser which is on the Amazon app store I thought was pretty good. It is not up to date though. If you use the google play store or get apks another way you can download an up to date one that way.

I've got a classic with the latest BB10 and my browser works rather well, best I've seen of the mobile browsers. My only qualm is that I often cannot click a hyperlink with my trackpad and must use the touchscreen.

Bb 10 browser is top notch in some areas and bad in others. One thing I do with the browser is youtube browsing and longpress a video>open in> and use Qbrowser. You can share to supertube sometimes also. Background play on android isn't that much less cumbersome.
