It actually annoys me right now. BlackBerry is suffering, struggling to find a way back into the phone market and everyone thinks BlackBerry is dead. And then I see windows 10...

    Has anybody noticed some similarities?

Has anybody opened the weather app on Windows 10? Looks almost exactly like BlackBerry blend. Also when I opened "edge" the first time I've notices the design with the three dots for more settings, and then there was a "hub"!!!

I'm writing this here because I hate unfair play. BlackBerry is a great platform and it has such a huge potential. But as always, the majority of the people on this planet stick with crappy stuff. Windows seems to have stolen quite a lot of BlackBerry layout and especially the hub idea. It's just unfair. Microsoft is getting more and more money whilst BlackBerry is suffering despite providing the good stuff.

I can only hope that Microsoft gives some cash to BlackBerry for stealing BlackBerry ideas for their windows 10 design.

It's like back in school. The clever kids do all the work and the mean st*pid kids just take it and get the good grades.

Every company is "inspired" by competitors. Automobiles, clothing lines, appliances, and yes smart phones too.

The three dots are all over windows 10. And look at the picture viewer. BlackBerry really should kick MS' a*s.

It's just unfair. BlackBerry seems to be one of the few good things left in the world of technology and the big companies just steal from it. It's like hitting an unconscious man who's already on the ground.

Maybe BlackBerry should consider working on a computer operating system. It would be fantastic!

This is like saying (whining) that Apple stole the smartphone idea from BlackBerry back in 2007. Therefore BlackBerry should've sued Apple for coming out either an IPhone.

I think BBRY may release a Windows10 edition in the future. It only makes since just like the droid version. BBRY will only have to update the apps just as they do now. But that's just my thinking...

I know what people are saying, having been a webOS fan and watched as all it's best features were "borrowed" by the major players (Playbook cards, anyone?).

Anyways, suing for stolen gui ideas would be pretty rich coming from a company that stole ("borrowed") it's entire BB10 gui from Nokia.

And I'm not complaining. I'm glad they did it. BB10 is a great OS.

As with most of the "innovations" that some here believe that BlackBerry created.... Picture Password have been around long before BlackBerry decided to use them. Microsoft has had it from the beginning of Windows 8 (which precede BB10), it's avilable in Windows 7 now... but I didn't have that so I'm not sure if it was added or was there from the beginning. But I bet MS borrowed the idea from someone else....

Too be honest it is hard to "invent" something that is totally unknown. Most innovation is taking others ideas and improving on them or using them to fit a different purpose.

It's like Samsung's new keyboard accessory.... they didn't invent the QWERTY keyboard (and neither did BlackBerry), but they came up with a way to take the TYPO idea a step or two forward. Their keyboard doesn't unbalance the device, the screen adjusts and other than the keys, there aren't moving parts or connectors to wear out - it's a balance of hardware and software to provide a different user experience. It's a pretty cool accessory for those that might want a physical keyboard... sometimes.

That Windows 10 "loading" screen when I first saw on my computer, indeed I noticed its resemblance to BlackBerry 10.3 loading screen. Surely BlackBerry can't file a lawsuit for something as simple as that loading animation.
