    Now that OS 10.2 has officially been announced do you think we will see an official OS leak? Im running 10.2.0.1725 and everything works perfect but its still on official...ya know?

    Any leak with a software release is undergoing (or has undergone) carrier testing. 1725 has a software release (as do 1521, 1443, 1047 and 783), so it might be it.

    If you say it like that all of them from 10.2.0.1047 have been official and sent to all carriers. So I don't really get the question. Carrier specific official you won't know the OS until they announce it and that will be because that specific OS works better for that carrier.

    Leaks tend to outpace official releases, as both 10.1.0.1720 and 10.1.0.4633 were leaked before their official release. Given those patterns, though, then the "gold" 10.2 build should be leaked some time between now (i.e. 1725) and mid-October.

    Unless they've changed things around.

    I loaded 1725 today and mine doesn't show a software release number.

    Software release numbers may also appear on BBRY's beta servers, which probably explains this: OS versions and software versions, what do they all mean? | CrackBerry.com

    Still, 1521 is on the production server, so we know carriers have that to play with.
