    Further OS development ended in 2015. It's been in maintainence mode ever since.

    Some updates came in the last few months.... If you mean instead huge improvements, nothing to report, security apart.

    I believe those were considered maintenance updates. Development is a vague loose word that can mean so much. To OS developers, BB10 was abandoned in 2015.

    Yes, we both are right. I would be curious anyway to know how the old BB10 employee were resettled...if into the android developer group, or fired....

    In both ways, I wish them all the best.

    @conite would be able to give you an idea. But I think the major layoffs - several thousand, I think - from several years ago were the BB10 development team.

    They've all resettled at Google and Apple.
