    I honestly don't think that carriers give a rat's hind-end about flash.

The majority of their customers don't have it now - figuring that iPhones and Android phones make up the majority of their customers.

The iPhone has been without for its entire 7 year life. Android since 4.1 was pushed (and just how many of the "average" customers are actually going to bother finding a way to add it back anyway).

Flash worked on BlackBerry phones for all of 2 years - and only for BB10 phones. How many of those exist? Not many considering the total number of phones out there.

It was actually a selling point... for the PlayBook. How did that turn out?

To reiterate, I think it's a bit of a stretch to think that the carriers even care about flash.

Whut? I think you're overestimating the carriers reach here man. Flash has 0 to do with any of the releases and carrier relations. As for late, well you can debate that but the OS is like a wizard, arriving precisely when it's meant to in 'February'.

When will it finally get through to people that Flash cannot be retained by an older browser bar? This has been asked and answered ever since 10.3.1. was first leaked.

Everyone! Stop talking about Flash. It's dead. The whole world is going to HTML5!

Can I ask the question again, now that the Carriers are starting to push out 10.3.1 and it is February?

Will Carriers allow 10.3.1 on phones older than the Classic?

Yes, it has been said a thousand times. Classic shares same specifications with Q10 by the way.

I don't have one in mind particularly. Z30 and Q10 are close to Classic, if not the same, and I don't see the majority of BlackBerry users (including Z10 and Q5) not receiving the update.
You'll see by yourself when the time will come. I can't help you more. It may takes time depending on your carrier. And if you can't wait, you can install a leak.
Classic on some carriers received the update i'm already using on my Q10 since few weeks.

There was an internal Telus document released that showed 10.3.1 would be coming out for all BB10 devices both past and present. Here is the link:

That memo was dated December 11th and mentioned in the OS would be released in the next few weeks. Plans must have changed. It is a month since the memo and only the Classic has had 10.3.1 pushed by Telus.
