I, like a lot of people here am using a leaked 10.2 update. Will the OTA update arrive for my phone or will I have to install the actual update in the same way I installed the leak?
My biggest problem with leaks are backups. Data isn't wiped with OTA updates so it's a big plus in my book.

Depends what OS you have installed.
If the official release is higher than the leak on your phone, you can get the OTA update.
If your leak is higher than the OTA release, then no OTA to official.
It's mid October now, here's hoping BlackBerry stick to their word of releasing this in the next few weeks!....
And yes to your question as long as ur leak version is lower than the official release version!

It will be pushed to you this month, it's safe to say! Exciting month, 10.2 and bbm for all coming...
I hope 10.2 and bbm drop on the same say. Would make a lot of people happy.

Thanks for the replies everyone! It does make sense when I think about it.
However, I have another quick one for ya. My carrier doesn't have/support BlackBerry's. Since carriers are the one releasing the updates (unlike with iPhones) does that mean I won't be getting mine at all?
Or.... does BlackBerry have their own update servers for us without carrier love :)

its not all up to them, remember carriers have to test the updates and they are the ones that push them out
Good point. But here's hoping for a not too long delay regardless of who releases 10.2 ( if there's any delay at all)!!
