So I compared my Z30 with my dad's Z10 and found out that his STL100-1 was loading things faster than my STA100-2.
I figured it was due to having installed tons of android apps and Cobalt's play services and his had just the basic apps and very few android ones installed.
I wiped my phone and installed Cobalt's google play services and play store on the Z10.
For my surprise, my recently wiped Z30 was not faster than the old Z10 with more apps installed. Maybe if I was lucky, the same app on both devices would load up at the same time, but never faster on my Z30 than on the Z10, and most times was the opposite.
They had the same OS installed. Why would this happen?

The STL100-1 had a different chipset than the other Z10's which in many cases did perform a little better in benchmarks. But the real key is the STL100-1 has a better performing GPU than the other Z10's.

But I wouldn't expect that it would beat the Z30.... but who knows.

Maybe stl100-1 processor is different compared to other z10 models

I think there is something wrong with the Z30, mine tore my Z10 a new one on everything.

Yes the 100-1 has a different chipset but it shouldn't be able to beat the Z30's

Though the GPU in the 10 100-1 is better

I know, i found out about the better GPU today. Still, the Z10 was mine for more than a year (I bought it used) before I gave it to my dad and the Z30 was bought new in November 2015 so I don't believe degradation is a problem. It's very weird

I guess I should have said "Why is MY Z30 slower than the Z10" and I don't mean spec-wise, I know it's better

Because the Z10 is a better device. Better screen quality, better size, virtually the same specs, and removable battery.
