    Recently updated my Balckberry z10 (STL 100-1) to 10.3.1.1565 OS. Amazon appstore got installed as default. When i am trying to open it, it's asking permission to access data and files. And when i accept the same, the app crashes and closes. Please suggest way to resolve the issue.

    on your phone go to http://www.amazon.com/getappstore
    it will install over what you have.

    Iam having the exact same issues with the app.

    Have installed new from app store.

    Have rebooted, and done as much as I could thing, and yet, this app still doesnt work.

    Worst is you cannot even remove the dam app from the system.

    Amazon Appstore has been having some issues.

    Go to Device Monitor then Storage then Appstore. Clear data. It will ask you to confirm. Confirm. Back out. Tap Appstore icon. You will have to login. Once you login, all your data will repopulate.

    LOL, ok well................

    That would work if you could get past the ACCEPT part of the app. There is no data to clear if you dont even get to a logon screen

    This app does not or has not installed correctly at all and as we have said

    You get to the ACCEPT permissions screen when the app opens and it immediatly crashes.

    No login, and when you open the app again its the same thing. Permissions screen at which you accept it again and crash.

    No matter how many times that you re install, reboot, reload the app

    SAME thing over and over.

    This is the only way I found to fix this problem... Also don't restore an older backup on a new update.... I used option number two.....

    After updating to 10.3 I immediately had a update for the Amazon Store.......check to see what the version is that you are using & update if is a earlier build
