Why?

I would like to use BBM, but I am the only BlackBerry user in my social circle and no one uses BBM.

I could get by fine usually, but if I ever want to use the video calling feature, I can't since the other person lacks BBM to begin with.

I know video calling without any apps is possible. I had that on my Nokia N8 with Symbian.

Fortunately, I don't use video calling much, but this issue is still worth mentioning.

Yeah, that's the next best option, but I would still like video calling as part of phone dialer, so that we don't have to mess with any apps.

And I don't think adding a video calling feature requires a high degree of technicality either.

I remember using video calling on my Nokia N95 and it worked fine over 3G cross platform. I don't know why BlackBerry has never included it on their handsets.

Yeah, come to think of it yes. I remembered doing video calls with my nokia n82 just with 3 G network and work very wel.
